Bio the biggining
It started when I was 14 and I helped my father restore an old car, he was never mechanically inclined. His frustrations in the build taught me the value of the right tools , equipment and knowledge for the job.On my 14th birthday my mother, who knew I liked minibikes…. there were a lot of them around when I was a kid, bought me a frame, and told me I had to get a job to buy the rest of the parts myself. I did, cutting lawns, hospital maintenance and then the car wash which was so conveniently next door.Which by the way I was always late for most of the time.I built that mini bike and rebuilt it a few times with 3 different motors. I later got into dirt bikes from a Suzuki Ts 185 to a Maico 400 and many more in between.I also had a few salvage bikes all Yamaha’s bought fixed and rode, them in the city…. yeah too many close calls. So one day after being cut of pole vaulting off a curve and shaking the stars out of my head I went to a buds shop dropped my bike in the driveway threw him the pinks and walked home.
The middle
So I found an interest but not a career in the automotive industry. It was many years I had spent in the automotive industry from 1978 till 1991,Washing cars, cleaning interiors detailing, parts department ,business office, Bodyshop manager, wrecking yard manager, but I never really liked it.I found after doing several career assessments that I needed a creative outlet. Needless to say we had fun made some awesome cars and trucks and made lotsa $.But still ……not liking it too much.I found a salvaged Yamaha XS 650. Bought it and dragged it around with me for 18 years ….. think about that!18 years of dragging somthing around and not doing a thing with it…then one day, while on the net http://www.650motorcycles.com/ I saw Scott’s bike, man that was IT! I thought to myself hell I used to fix and ride my stuff why not build it, its a creative outlet….. yeah….. hell yeah. and here we are. I have a year of making mistakes and years ahead of not trying to repeat them
No end
!By the way there is no end Unless I ……….. but for this point in time I am sourcing the best people that share the same passion for building things themselves there are lots of good links that if you look can supply you the information you are looking for and if not that then the parts and if not that then the builders.Hey I’m back, been away for a long time going to post some more pics and please leave some comments

Guys for those of you that wonder …..(if he can build his own parts why does he buy parts made by others) the answer is simple, we all need to support each other, these guys make a living making parts , good parts. And I am one to support them. And I am of the frame of mind that whatever goes around comes around. Its a global economy lets support each other and maybe we will be around when it picks up. If no one gives a sh_t who will!
Got some Family matters to deal with so I wont post till its over!
